Louis-Philippe Pigeon, who will be appointed puisne judge of the Supreme Court of Canada in 1967, is born in Henryville, Quebec.
1980
Louis-Philippe Pigeon retires as a puisne judge of the Supreme Court of Canada.
1995
Romeo Leblanc is sworn in as Canada's 25th Governor General. He is the first Acadian to hold this office.
