Description of the Virtual Tour
Puisne Judge’s Office
This is a 360-degree virtual tour. The view is from the middle of the room.
The office of a puisne judge looks very much like the Chief Justice's office.
The walls and floor of this octagonal room are made of wood, as are its four built-in bookcases. Daylight that enters through two big windows is reflected off the white ceiling.
The way the wooden furniture is arranged divides the office in two parts. The armchairs and chairs are covered with leather or fabric.
- Behind the judge’s desk, above the black leather armchair, a work of art is mounted on the wall. Two narrow windows with white net curtains flank three built-in bookcases, as well as nine photographs and paintings.
- As we move toward the middle of the room, a plant and a small television can be seen, after which a table and chairs and a coffee table surrounded by armchairs sit on two Persian rugs.
- The entrance door, over which an electric clock is mounted, leads to an adjacent sitting room.
- To the right of the door is a marble fireplace, which is flanked by two green plants and over which nine framed photographs can be seen.
- Farther to the right, in front of a built-in bookcase, two elegant small armchairs sit on another Persian rug. A low cabinet with a lamp on it sits against the wall, which is decorated with five framed pictures.
Six other framed pictures can be seen on the walls, and other bookcases, tables, lamps and plants complete the decoration of the room.
